‘Spring in the Glen’
Oil on Canvas by Kelly-Anne Cairns
So… this week marks a year since the first lockdown, and it feels timely to reflect and share some of my rediscovered positivity with you!
Over the last stressful and worrying year there have been little beams of sunshine in my life and it’s those which shine the brightest as I skim across my memories.
I have had to adapt like so many of us in the world. There’s been dark days for sure…
but it’s the light side I’m focusing on.
Just for a giggle here’s a few of the sunshine beams from the past year I can now add to my skills bank!

Have you learned new things? New ways of coping? New skills to flaunt?
One of the things I’ve had to do is change the way I deliver my workshops.
I’ve been tutoring art workshops for over 20 years and I love it.
Unable to invite participants to join me in my workshop or in a creative classroom I took the plunge
and dove into online workshops.
I signed up for a course in delivering creative workshops online with The Design Trust and the momentum slowly built up to going online.
Here’s a couple of my upcoming online workshops – click the button for more information
I also offer bespoke workshops via Zoom for special occasions or…just because.
My range of fun creative workshops can bring you, your family and friends together when we need to be distanced.
💛 Art is good for you 💛
My Etsy shop is also something I’ve been more focused on building up.
I have a brilliant photographer who captures my paintings down to the minute details and a fantastic local printer who creates lush giclée prints of my work.
It’s such a great way to support artists and own affordable contemporary art!
I also have original oil paintings listed from postcard size to meter square canvases.
Take a look and check in every now and then as I’m regularly adding to the collection. 💛
Below are some images from my amazing experience as a selected artist contestant for
Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2020
Here’s a selection of some of my available artworks.
Just send me an email if you’d like to know more about them or other works I have available
